Conceal Carry Permit
The State of UTAH has provided citizens with the right to arm and protect themselves, their families and others. However, carrying a concealed weapon/firearm requires that an individual be trained and responsible. The CCW/CFP course is taught with requirements consistent with the State of Utah BCI standards and will provide the student with an opportunity to obtain their Utah State CFP Permit. NOTE: On May 5, 2021, Utah will no longer mandate individuals to obtain a CCW Permit if they desire to carry a concealed firearm reference HB60 Constitutional Carry. This is applicable to those 21 years and older. This will not negate the CCW Permit that will continue to be offered to private citizens who want to take full advantage of its provisions. Such as, waived background process when purchasing a firearm from a legal provider. Permit is valid for 5-years and applicable to reciprocity states that require a CCW when entering their state if your intention is to carry. The continued training for those who take their carrying a concealed weapon seriously in maintaining their proficiency and efficiency. Should one be involved in any scenario where a firearm has been presented or discharged in the defense of life, a CCW permit is a good document to have in your possession upon law enforcement response in investigating an active or post incident event. It’s simply being responsible.
